Aircraft hangars are among the most demanding structural challenges in the steel construction industry — wide clear spans, high eave clearances, very severe wind load exposure, and seismic compliance combine to demand precision engineering that leaves no margin for approximation. Poojary Prefab designs and fabricates hangar structures entirely in-house at our Wagholi facility, with every primary member engineered to the specific aircraft type, door system, and site wind zone.
Our hangar structures deliver column-free clear spans up to 120 metres — accommodating narrow-body, wide-body, and cargo aircraft without internal obstruction. Eave heights up to 25m provide tail clearance for large-body aircraft and MRO platform access. Bi-fold and hydraulic hangar doors of up to 60m opening width are engineered as part of the structural system, not bolted on as afterthoughts.
