What kitchen equipment is provided?

Is the canteen FSSAI compliant?

Yes. The kitchen layout follows FSSAI food safety guidelines, including separation of raw and cooked food areas, dedicated hand-washing stations, adequate ventilation, and cross-contamination barriers between preparation zones. We can provide a layout certification drawing for FSSAI registration purposes if required.

What capacity sizes are available?

Our range starts at 20-person compact snack counters and scales to 200-person full-service cafeterias. The serving and seating capacity is determined by the number and size of linked units. We produce a capacity calculation and layout drawing for your approval before fabrication, based on peak headcount and peak dining period requirements.

How quickly can a prefab canteen unit be delivered?

Compact single-unit canteens are typically dispatched within 10–14 days. Large campus cafeteria configurations with multiple linked units take 14–21 days from order confirmation. On-site installation of a single-unit canteen takes 1–2 days; larger multi-unit canteens take 3–5 days.

Can the canteen be used as a permanent facility?

Yes. While prefab canteen units are designed to be relocatable, many clients retain them as semi-permanent facilities in fixed locations for years. PUF-insulated panels and powder-coated steel provide a 15–20 year service life with standard maintenance. The relocatable design is an added benefit, not a limitation.

What flooring is used in the kitchen area?

The kitchen and food preparation area uses slip-resistant ceramic tiles or industrial epoxy flooring with coved skirting at wall joints — both of which are FSSAI and HACCP-compatible. The dining area uses vinyl flooring or the same ceramic tile for easy mopping and maintenance.

Can additional seating modules be added later?

Yes. Our modular canteen system allows seating extension units to be joined to an existing canteen block. Each extension unit connects through a door opening with shared electrical provisions. This lets you start with a 50-person seating capacity and expand to 150 persons as the site headcount grows, without replacing the original unit.
