Control Rooms

Control rooms are the nerve centres of critical industrial infrastructure — a failure of the control room environment means a failure of the process it monitors. Temperatures that exceed equipment operating limits, vibration from adjacent machinery, electromagnetic interference from HV switchgear, or a blast event from adjacent process plant can all compromise control room integrity. Poojary Prefab's prefab control rooms are engineered specifically to prevent these failure modes — each designed around the equipment it houses, the process environment it faces, and the regulatory standard it must meet.

Our control rooms are factory-built, precision-engineered structures that arrive on site as complete, tested units. Structural steel framing, insulated sandwich panel cladding, internal partition systems, raised access flooring, precision HVAC, cable entry management systems, and anti-static finishes are all factory-installed and commissioned before dispatch. This factory-assembly approach eliminates the quality variability that plagues field-built control rooms and guarantees environmental performance from day one of operation.

Substation Control Room

Structural panels designed to specified blast overpressure — typically 0.5–3.0 psi for process plant applications. Mass-plate clad construction, blast-rated door and window assemblies, and full compliance with ASCE 7 blast design provisions. For refineries, LNG terminals, and explosive risk zones.

Remote / Unmanned Substation Building

Compact, secure buildings for unmanned remote substations and telecom facilities — vandal-resistant cladding, access control provisions, environmental monitoring, and communication infrastructure mounting provisions. Designed for minimal maintenance in remote locations.

Blast-Resistant to International Standards

Our blast-resistant control rooms are designed to ASCE 7 blast loading provisions and ISO 17776 (offshore risk) guidelines. Mass-plate construction, blast-rated door and window assemblies, and pressure-venting provisions ensure personnel safety and equipment continuity in the event of an adjacent process blast event.

Precision HVAC for Equipment Reliability

DCS and SCADA equipment operates reliably only within defined temperature and humidity bands — typically 20–25°C, 40–60% RH. Our N+1 precision HVAC maintains these conditions under all external conditions, with positive pressure preventing dust ingress and HEPA filtration options for chemically corrosive atmospheres.

Factory-Tested Before Dispatch

Every control room undergoes factory acceptance testing before dispatch — HVAC performance, cable entry integrity, raised floor load tests, and electrical continuity. On-site commissioning is reduced to service connections and final instrument hook-up. No remediation of site-built quality failures.

Full Regulatory Documentation Package

IS 50244, IEC 61340, IEC 60529 compliance certificates, blast calculation reports, structural design certificates, and HVAC performance documentation. Ready for CEIG, PESO, OISD, and international regulatory authority submissions.
